Also, it should go without saying, but news stories do indicate otherwise: always be honest about your experiences, education, and qualifications. Yes, you want to showcase yourself in the best light, but stick to the facts. Falsifying credentials may get you into an interview, and in some cases may get you into a job, but the cost can be very high if you&#039;re found out--even years later. 

So, make sure your resume has game, but make sure there&#039;s no foul play in that game.
