Diane Hudson Burns is respected as one of the industry’s leading career coaches, two-time award-winning professional résumé writer, and an authority for Military Transitions and Federal Résumé & Application Procedures; as well as a nationally published author, international conference speaker, and train the trainer.

Diane is quoted as a career expert in the Career Builder section of major national newspapers including the Baltimore Sun and Los Angeles Times on varied career topics. Her resumes are published in over 30 books and periodicals including the Federal Resume Guidebook, Third & Fourth Editions (Chapter author), national articles and career industry journals including the Career Planning and Adult Development Journal, The Resume Writer’s Digest, Women For Hire Newsletter, and the National Business Employment Weekly (cover story).

With 17+ years’ experience in the careers industry, Diane is a Career Change Coach & Trainer with a strong record of writing winning military conversion, career change, and Federal government résumés with successful results for career transition and position placement. As a former recruiter for a major aerospace corporation in Los Angeles and Special Agent Investigator for the Department of Defense, she has the inside scoop on résumé requirements, interviewing, references, and creating and managing a successful career search campaign.
